# Beat the Battery Rebate Rush - Your Questions Answered

Since announcing our upfront battery rebate offer, we’ve received a wave of enquiries from Queenslanders keen to take advantage – and understandably, plenty of questions too. To help clear things up, we’ve answered the most common ones below so you can make an informed decision and act with confidence.

With the Federal Government’s proposed national battery rebate on the horizon, Halcol Energy is proud to offer *the full value of the rebate upfront* — no waiting, no politics, no paperwork bottlenecks.

### What is the proposed national battery rebate?
The Federal Government has announced plans for a **Cheaper Home Batteries Program**, which could offer thousands of dollars in rebates for households installing eligible battery systems. It’s a major move to help solar-powered homes store energy and slash power bills.

### Is the rebate available now?
**Not officially.** The rebate is still a proposal and won’t be active until legislation passes and rollout begins — likely later in the year. That means months of delays for those who wait.

### So, what is Halcol Energy offering?
We’re giving you the **full rebate-equivalent value upfront** on eligible battery systems. No waiting for elections or policy announcements — you get the savings *now* on all new and existing quotes.

**$5,920 off** a Sigenergy Sigenstor
**$5,000 off** a Tesla Powerwall 3
**$3,700 off** a SolarEdge Energy Bank

These are real savings, applied immediately to your system.

### Why act now instead of waiting for the official rebate?
- **Avoid Energex delays.** Once the rebate is launched, application queues are expected to **blow out to 60+ days**, or more.
- **No risk.** Get the same value now, without needing to wait or qualify.
- **Secure your install before prices rise.** High demand could drive up system costs later this year.
- **Avoid policy changes.** Energex may revise battery install requirements once the rebate is formalised — acting now ensures current guidelines still apply.

### Will I still qualify for the official rebate later?
It’s not guaranteed. Rebate eligibility is often tied to strict conditions, income thresholds, or specific products. By acting now with Halcol Energy, **you lock in your savings with no strings attached.**

### How long is this offer available?
This is a **limited-time promotion**, valid only until stock is allocated or the rebate becomes active — whichever comes first. With demand already rising, we encourage early action to avoid missing out.

### What batteries are included?
Our offer applies to some of the best home battery systems available today, including:

- **Sigenergy Sigenstor** – Smart, all-in-one modular battery
- **Tesla Powerwall 3** – The latest in Tesla’s iconic range
- **SolarEdge Energy Bank** – Premium battery storage with built-in integration

All systems come with expert installation and Halcol’s trusted after-sales support.

### Can I get a quote before committing?
Absolutely. Book a [**free, no-obligation consultation**](https://halcolenergy.com.au/contact/) with one of our experienced solar experts. We’ll tailor a solution for your home, explain your savings, and handle the application process from start to finish.
