# Halcol Energy Celebrates National Recognition at the Smart Energy Excellence Awards

2025 marks a milestone year for Halcol Energy — not only are we celebrating **15 years of powering Queensland homes and businesses**, but we’ve also been recognised with top honours at the **2025 Smart Energy Excellence Awards**.

### 🏆 Top Sunshine Coast Solar Installer – 2 Years in a Row

We’re proud to share that Halcol Energy has once again been awarded **Top Sunshine Coast Solar Installer** for the second consecutive year. 🌞

We’ve also been named a **Top Volume Installer in Queensland** for the **fifth year running**, highlighting the trust thousands of Queenslanders continue to place in our team for their solar and battery needs.

These wins reflect our long-standing commitment to quality, service, and results — and we couldn’t have achieved them without our loyal customers and dedicated crew.

### 🇦🇺 Finalist for Australia’s Best Solar Installer

We’re thrilled to announce that Halcol Energy is a **Top 5 Finalist** in the running for **Australia’s Best Solar Installer** in 2025, as judged by the **Smart Energy Council**.

To be recognised on a national stage is a major honour — and a moment of pride not just for us, but for the entire Sunshine Coast.

While the winner will be announced this Wednesday, we’re already celebrating what this means: 15 years of putting our customers first, embracing new technology, and leading with integrity.

### ☀️ Sunshine Coast’s Only Ever National Finalist

Here’s the big news: **Halcol Energy is the only Sunshine Coast company** to ever be shortlisted for **Australia’s Best Solar Installer**.

It’s a first for our region and a reflection of everything we’ve built over the past decade and a half — from early installations that are still running strong, to today’s advanced battery systems and smart energy solutions.

We’re grateful to our local community for helping us put the Coast on the map.
