## Households can claim up to $4,000 in battery rebate
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you – Halcol Energy is proud to announce the launch of the [Queensland Battery Booster Program](https://halcolenergy.com.au/solar-news/queensland-battery-booster-program-extended/)! This strategic initiative, funded by the Queensland Government under the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan, offers an incredible opportunity for households like yours to embrace renewable energy and enjoy substantial rebates.

**Claim Up to $4,000 in Battery Rebates**
Under the Battery Booster Program, households with a solar PV system of 5 kilowatts or more are eligible for rebates ranging from $3,000 to $4,000. This means-tested rebate structure ensures that households with a combined taxable income of $180,000 or less can receive a $3,000 rebate, while individuals earning below $66,667 may qualify for the full $4,000.

**Immediate Financial Relief and Long-Term Savings**
These significant rebates reduce the initial cost of purchasing and installing solar battery systems, providing immediate financial relief. Additionally, lower electricity bills and the long-term savings associated with more energy-efficient homes ensure a brighter, cost-effective future for all involved.

**Eligibility Criteria**
To be eligible for the rebates offered through the Battery Booster Program, participants must meet specific criteria, including:

**Maximum Income Threshold:** Applicants must have a combined annual household taxable income of $180,000 or less.

**Battery Purchase Date:** Eligibility applies to home battery systems purchased after the official launch of the program.

**Minimum Battery System Size:** The battery system must be a minimum of 6 kilowatt-hours (kWh).

**Approved Battery Systems:** Only battery systems from the approved list will be eligible for the rebate, ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.

**Minimum Solar PV System Size:** Households must already have, or plan to install, a solar PV system of at least 5kW.

**Installation by Approved Installer:** The installation of the battery system must be carried out by an Approved Installer, such as Halcol Energy.

We’re here to help you maximise the potential of your rebate and guide you through the process of participating in the Queensland Battery Booster Program. Spots are limited, we are prioritising our existing customers, so please get in touch asap if you are interested.

**New Battery Deals**

We have put together some very good deals.
Redback Battery from $4500
