The Solar Communities Program has plans to release funding of $2.2 million to be awarded as grants of $2500 and up to $12500, to allow small scale solar power installations for community groups who prove their eligibility and meet certain conditions.
Demand is expected to be high, with the closing date for applications being 31 May 2018.Once individual regional targets for available funding is reached, applications will close.
