Nominate a deserving person, charity or organisation
After the huge interest in our previous 2020 initiative, we are giving away a 6.6kW solar system to a worthwhile charity, a local organisation or any worthy individual.
Each year we provide support to a local charity (with the Westpac Chopper benefiting last year). However, this year, we’ve decided to entrust the decision of who deserves a free solar system to our customers and friends. We believe that the local community is best placed to identify those who would benefit the most from this initiative.
The solar system comes with Canadian Solar 415w panels and a Sofar inverter. The lucky winner of this solar installation could save hundreds in energy each quarter, depending on their normal power usage.
Nominate a Worthy Recipient
We’re asking residents of South-East Queensland to nominate someone who would benefit from this solar system. This might be a charity, a local organisation, sports club or any person who really needs a helping hand right now. We’d love to hear from you, so please tell us why your nomination is a worthy winner of this solar system.
Nominations close at 7pm on Monday 19th June 2023. While there can only be one lucky winner, we look forward to reading all of your nominations. Terms and conditions apply.
Previous Winners of Our Solar System Giveaway
In 2020, as part of our 10-year anniversary celebrations, we asked for nominations for a deserving cause, person, or charity to receive a free solar system installation. We received over 100 candidates, and Stu and Mea Cran emerged as the winners with the most votes.
Stu, a high school chaplain, and his wife Mea were renovating their home to provide accommodation for independent students. The pandemic had also hit their small business hard. The 11kW solar system we installed with Canadian Solar panels was a financial godsend for them.
